Hi, I’m Luca. I am a Senior Data Science Expert, author, and educator with a passion for making complex AI and machine learning concepts accessible to everyone.

Over the last two decades, I’ve had the opportunity to solve complex data challenges across a wide variety of industries, including finance, telecommunications, new media, oil & gas, and consumer goods. My specialty is taking chaotic, overwhelming "big data" and transforming it into actionable "smart data."

You might have seen my work on the bookshelf! I am the author or co-author of over 15 books on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI for publishers like Wiley, Manning, and Packt. This includes several popular titles in the famous For Dummies series.

In the global data science community, I am deeply involved as a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Machine Learning and a 2x Kaggle Competitions Grandmaster (reaching a peak worldwide rank of 7th).

When I’m not writing, coding, or competing, I love to share knowledge. I frequently speak at tech conferences, lecture on marketing and statistics at universities, and mentor emerging talent in the tech space.
