Lucas Birdsall

Lucas Birdsall is a Canadian executive with experience as CEO and Director for BMBG Capital Corp and Castlebar Capital Corp. In these roles, Lucas provided leadership in risk management, analysis, and market research and established a strong reputation as an effective and confident communicator and relationship-builder.

Prior to this, Lucas Birdsall served as a Venture Capitalist for Parabellum Capital Strategies, a merchant bank focused on incubating investments for liquidity opportunities across the natural resources, technology, and pharmaceutical industries. He trained as an underwriter with Northbridge Financial Corporation and subsequently worked as an Account Executive for Veritaaq IT Consulting, where he built strong relationships with clients in the Ontario and BC public sectors, as well as in the financial services and telecommunications industries.

Lucas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Operations Management from Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business in 2015.

A man of diverse interests, Lucas Birdsall prioritizes his physical health through weight training, tennis, and swimming. He’s a former member of the Langley Olympians Swim Club and competed in Intra Club swim meets in the free, breast, and fly strokes. He’s an art collector as well as an aficionado of antique boats. He’s a fan of baseball, NCAA basketball, and participates each year in a competitive fantasy football league.
