Lucas Ackerson is a seasoned organizational leader and consultant with 13 years of experience helping others grow into leadership roles. His background as a college track athlete developed in him key qualities such as discipline, resilience, and perseverance, which continue to guide his work and personal values. He sees adversity as a path to building strength and purpose, and he trusts the journey, even during uncertain times. His main strengths include organizational leadership, time management, and client relations.

Lucas served as Assistant Principal-Athletic Director at a school in Scottsdale, where he managed strategic planning, execution, and resource coordination. His responsibilities included leading performance assessments, enhancing communication with leadership, and providing coaching to teacher leaders and cross-functional teams. His work improved operational clarity and team preparedness. In the athletic department, he helped refine systems and governance and secured a Nike Elite Contract and Sports deal, marking a significant achievement.

In Cave Creek, he supported K-12 Educational Services by assisting teachers, students, administrators, and community members. He provided training and served as a behavioral coach, instructional coach, curriculum lead, and PLC coordinator, working to improve educational outcomes and collaboration.

Before that, he taught fourth and fifth grades in Scottsdale, where he also served as an instructional leader. He worked closely with other educators to ensure both online and in-person learning met state standards. Using the CICO system, he supported students with behavioral challenges and created a safe, engaging classroom environment that encouraged independent thinking.

Lucas spent six years teaching second through fourth grade in Wisconsin. During that time, he held roles such as PBIS Tier 1 coach, instructional leader, and science curriculum director. He led initiatives including a PBIS expectations video, development of STEM lessons, and implementation of UDL strategies. He was also awarded a $500 classroom grant for science materials and contributed to district-wide data training and instructional planning.

In addition to his educational roles, he worked as a restaurant supervisor, focusing on team management, performance analysis, and business development.

Lucas Ackerson earned degrees from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, Silver Lake College, and Grand Canyon University. With a strong foundation in family, faith, and service, he remains committed to leading with integrity and purpose.
