Hey there! My name is Lucas, and I’m a 2 year student at Ryerson University studying Radio & Television Arts: Sport Media. My background of work consists of social media content creation.

I’ve loved basketball since I was about 9 years old, and have been a religious NBA fan since. I’ve always been a nerd for stats, even in house league sports as a kid. This eventually led me to start my own Instagram page (@nba.in_depth) at the age of 15. Since then, I’ve created 8000 pieces of content and amassed over 133,000 followers on Instagram. Watching the NBA, studying it – the players, front offices, conflicts, and statistics – has become second nature to me.

My goal for the future is to either one day make a living on social media as a digital, audio and video NBA content creator, or work my way into more of a front office role as an NBA “capologist,” a made-up term used for those who are hired to understand and decipher the ins and outs of the legality behind the NBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.
