As a high school student and a college undergraduate, Luca Simmons excelled as a student athlete, ultimately playing as catcher on the United States Air Force Academy baseball team. In the summer months, he volunteered as an assistant coach with the Roland Park Baseball League in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, where he trained 20 boys and girls who ranged between 13 and 16 years of age. Since leaving the Academy in 2015, Luca Simmons has served as an oral surgery assistant with a private dental practice in the Baltimore suburb of Abingdon.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Luca Simmons is concurrently pursuing a bachelor of business administration at Baltimore’s Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Prior to enrolling at Johns Hopkins in 2016, he has gained admittance to the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society. He is presently on schedule to graduate in May of 2018.

When he isn’t working or studying, Mr. Simmons enjoys reading, golfing, and playing guitar. He also remains an avid sports fan and particularly likes watching baseball.
