Lucas Lopez is a graphic designer, writer and editor. Born in 1969 in Argentina, he graduated from the Universidad de Palermo with a degree in graphic design. He co-founded the design studio Pump Diseño in 1996, where he is Creative Director. He is also the co-founder and editor of the publishing project Acido Surtido. He has authored a number of articles on design and visual culture for the Spanish periodicals tipoGráfica and étapes and currently writes for the magazine DNI and the architecture supplement of the Clarin daily newspaper, Arquitectura. His work has been translated into Portuguese, English and French. He also authored the novel Ikko Tanaka: el Color y el Silencio (2011) and DiscoGráficas (2012) both published by Formato Ediciones.
