Lucas Prater

I have a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, Ga. I also hold a bachelor of arts in journalism from The University of Georgia in Athens.

I enjoy working with my hands and I have a knack for detail. In my free time I enjoy making things like soap, beer, comic strips, quadcopter drones and paintings. I have single-handedly renovated a house. I drive an old 1982 BMW 320i that I am resto-modding. I have traveled to England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Honduras, the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize and Australia and I plan to visit my sister at the grand canyon this Thanksgiving.

I dream of some day rebuilding classic cars from the chassis-up. I prefer to live in the city but I grew up in the country so I pine for the woods.
