Luccia Lyzette

Los Angeles, CA

Luccia Lyzette (Rivera) was born in the beautiful, warm, city of Tampa, FL. Spending some years also living in Gettysburg, PA Luccia gained a love for the outdoors and the beauty of nature. The older of two children and growing up in a divorced family she developed a love for art and used creativity as an escape at a young age. Constantly being nurtured by her family to create and use her imagination Luccia spent much of her childhood crafting cardboard rocket ships, exploring creeks, and drawing mermaids. At the age of six she began performing in school plays which developed further as she grew into her late high school years. This lead her to join the National Thespian Society and participate in and win a community talent show held by the local radio station. After graduating she performed at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, which sparked a fire in her to pursue acting on a larger scale. She began studying different acting processes and taking classes, and on down time drove up and down the east coast in search of film festivals. By chance, a friend asked for help to drive across the country to Los Angeles and she jumped at the chance. Exploring the southern part of the country was a great way to welcome her into the City she had always dreamed of. A city that has provided her the chance to study at The Second City Hollywood and perform in a number of shorts and plays. After six months of crashing on couches and six months of sharing a two bedroom apartment with seven people (yes! seven!), Luccia finally lives on her own in a small studio creating art. She enjoys acting, improvisation, reading, video games, anime, and travel (and if time travel were real she'd list that too).
