Lucette Laffoon

Ave Maria School of Law student Lucette Laffoon has been pursuing her Juris Doctor since 2009. Actively involved in numerous school organizations, Lucette Laffoon serves as the President of St. Francis Cabrini Immigration Law Society and the Vice President of Delta Theta Phi. She also belongs to the Neapolitan Civitan Club, and regularly attends church at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.

A world traveler, Lucette Laffoon has been to Paris, France and has traveled repeatedly to Rio de Janeiro and Salvador de Bahia in Brazil. In June 2010, Lucette Laffoon took the opportunity to combine her passion for travel and law and participated in a summer study abroad program hosted by Santa Clara Law the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. In July 2010, she served as a Legal Intern for Legal Aid New South Wales (NSW).

During the regular school term, Lucette Laffoon operates as the Producer for The Advocate radio show, which is broadcasted through Ave Maria School of Law radio station. As a Producer, Lucette Laffoon undertakes the responsibility of finding and contacting potential guests for the show and often communicates with attorneys, law professors, judges, writers, and politicians. In May of 2011, Lucette Laffoon joined Wolfsdorf Immigration Law Group in Santa Monica, California, as a legal intern.
