I started my working life as a Primary School teacher in Sydney. However, after the birth of my daughter (who, incidentally is now my business partner!) I found the lack of childcare an obstacle to continuing with this career.

Fast forward to a part time job in a paint and wallpaper shop...one day the decorator leaves, and I am immediately thrust into her position, being the only staff member with (apparently) Design talent!!! So in 1989 my Window Coverings career took off (and yes, I did do some professional training!!)

After a move to the Hills in 1995, More Than Curtains (my second baby) was born.

I am passionate about window treatments and I never tire of showing my clients what they really need and how attractive their windows can be. I am so into this career that I try to be present at the installation, just to see the look of delight on my client's face when their window coverings are installed.

I also work in tandem with a number of Sydney's leading Interior Designers...they love that I take away all the stress and drama of ordering, measuring, writing up worksheets,etc. They get all the glory without any of the hassle!!!

Recently my daughter became my business partner and our clients are loving the extra attention from this unique Mother/daughter team. So More Than Curtains will continue into the next generation....
