Lucia Cottone is a veteran Network and Studio Television Development executive. Her last corporate post was as SVP of Original Programing for the Global Sony TV Network Group. In 2013 she took a hiatus from her career and in that time and space she decided to pursue a Masters of Arts in Spiritual Psychology. In 2014 Lucia’s entrepreneurial spirit lead her to launched Knack Talent, Inc. where she has become a one of a kind Creative Consultant. Her experience in content development and programming combined with her studies in Spiritual Psychology and certifications in various coaching modalities give her the unique ability to guide and support her varied clients to achieve optimal results in their creative endeavors, careers and personal lives.
Cottone’s desire to continue to express her voice in the content world also lead her to co-found LA Media 3 an independent production entity. The focus is to develop and produce stories that touch our collective emotional interests breaking the boundaries of culture, social class and gender to explore our human universality. LA Media 3's first project is an adaptation of Alisa Valdes' novel The Dirty Girls Social Club for Starz.
Lucia holds a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology from USM, a BS from Emerson College and a degree in Photography from NESOP. Throughout her career she has been named numerous times one of the Top Latinos in the Entertainment Industry and was also named one of the 20 under 40 Latinos shaping the future of the US by Poder Magazine. She is a founding member of the Hispanic Board for the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, an advisor to the founder of Las Fotos Project, and an ambassador for World Adoption Day. Her clients, speaking engagements and seminars joyfully keep her in and out of airports. She recently also become a contributing blogger for the Huffington Post. Lucia was born and raised in Guatemala and now lives in Los Angeles, CA.
