Lucia Dubacova

I am currently based in south-east London where I graduated at Goldsmiths University from Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship programme. I specialise on creative production in festivals and other events. I love being a music assistant in Continental Drifts, programming festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Latitude, Lovebox and many others. Before I worked as a creative production assistant at Secret Productions (making The Secret Garden Party and Wilderness festivals) and a freelance host the Hub Westminster. My long-term mission is to positively influence peoples' lives. I research happenings (mainly 'Burn' events) that bring people to new, positive interactions with each other and with their environment. This research builds on my interest in arts festivals and their social impact. I am trying to find out what and how changes peoples’ perception of the world, their attitudes and how is that possible to accomplish through interactive arts and events. Therefore I have organised couple of small-scale events in my home country Slovakia and helped with many around London (e.g. fantasy High Street, LIFT, International Student Film Festival, Decompression, Roundhouse, Nowhere). From time to time I like swinging poi but also my body, do acrobalance, make pretty things, interactive decorations and sets
