Luciana Harris is the owner of Luciana's Massage & Spa Therapies in Baton Rouge, La. She is an instructor for Ahh...Shiatsu Floor Massage and Bamboossage (Barefoot Masters). Bamboossage Therapy uses heated bamboo sticks of various shapes and sizes to deliver a relaxation or deep tissue massage. Ahh... Shiatsu Floor Massage is done with the client on a massage mat with the therapist using their feet to deliver a deep tissue massage. Both modalities are designed to help prevent injury to the therapist and prolong a healthy massage career. For the client, these massages help to relieve pain, improve flexibility, prevent injury and relieve stress.
