I am a Health Psychologist, employed by the University of Manchester Medical School, UK. Together with my colleagues, I am developing ways of working with health professional educators to change the focus of education from increasing knowledge and skills to changing professional practice. We are doing this by developing and implementing tools that assess determinants of change in the workforce. We can also deliver training to educators about making their education more behaviourally focussed. I teach psychology and assessment to medical students and medics.
