Lexmark z2420 Wireless Printer
while hooked up via a USB cable strung across my desk) thequality was not good and it was crooked on the page.
The lexmark wireless printer z2420works and it's wireless feature is nice but its certainly a downgrade from myold printer. The ink seems to need constant replacing and the printer refusesto print anything if it wants the ink replaced. Something that bothers me(while I still understand) is the printer only estimates at how much ink isleft in each cartridge and when it thinks it's empty based on how much itprinted it will demand a replacement.
I've tried all the head cleaning utilities and still theprinter does not print. I'm suspecting that the print head is clogged, as thisprinter is only used periodically by my daughter for her High school projects.Ithought this printer was a great deal initially but it has now become anexpensive paperweight. I would suggest folks purchase a printer that has printheads in the actual cartridge if they are not going to use the printer on aregular basis.
I called the helpline, and in 10 minutes had everythingworking nicely. The printer does what I need it to do, and customer service wasoutstanding.
Printer does not include a male/male USB cable which isneeded for set-up. It also does not inform you that you'll need this anywherein the product description, so unless you have one laying around, you won't beable to get started on your printing projects until you get out there in thereal world and buy one. Or order another one online and wait a few more days.
Not pleased with this printer. I am so used to my oldprinter that this one is such a pain. Once color runs out it won't printanymore.
It has the same problem my last Epson had, constant cleaningof print heads, sometimes 3 or 4 times and they still don't work but all theink is now gone.
