I started off at Jobvite doing a little bit of everything as the only dedicatd product manager. As the team grew, my focus switched full-time to Jobvite Hire. At Jobvite, we are convinced that there is still room for innovation in the Applicant Tracking Industy and it was my job to figure out where and how to innovate. This led to the ulitmate development and launch of Jobvite Video, the first video screening solution built natively to work with an ATS.

Senior Product Manager, Intuit

While working at Intuit I took up running and made a friend with someone working in retirement business at T. Rowe Price. During our long talks I started to question why small businesses rarely offered retirement plans to their employees. I really wanted to solve this problem and as a result was able to take a whitespace project exploring 401(k) plans for small businesses and turn this in to my full time job at Intuit, ultimately launching the Intuit 401(k).

My first challenge at Intuit was to identify ways to improve the ways in which small businesses, with little or no experience in payroll, could learn how to stay compliant and get paychecks out on time to their employees. Soon thereafter, I switched to defining requirements to allow customers to electronically file and pay their payroll taxes to nearly 100 different government agencies across 50 states.

At TRS, I worked as the lone product manager for a "start-up" within a large construction management company. In addition to specifying the product requirements, I was also responsible for UI design, customer training and support, and sales demos.
