Lucretia King is a "connector of dots" - a person passionate about connecting people to people, people to places, resources to ideas, research to solutions, and solutions to challenges. Whatever the "dots" may be, she works to bridge one with the other - always looking at the big picture to make sure everything is where it needs to be and all is flowing smoothly. Her hope is that the connections she forms are done at just the right time for those "dots" to matter, build community, and make a positive difference for all.

An experienced higher education professional, Lucretia is skilled in educational and social program development, budget management, and public and media relations - all within the realms of alumni relations, travel and tourism, non-profit management, and small business development. Throughout her career, she has achieved her goals of increasing event attendance, expanding alumni and student outreach efforts, and motivating volunteers and donors to action for various education and community initiatives.

Lucretia possesses excellent writing skills and small group leadership - proficient in the use of online communication tools but preferring the "personal touch" of face-to-face communication and "dying art" of handwritten correspondence.

In her spare time, Lucretia enjoys reading, journaling, photography, and travel. Her personal goal in life is to live well, laugh often, and love much.
