Lucy Kite

Lucy is currently a Presenter for ITV Central. She's the face of Central Weather and regularly stands in to anchor the flagship 6pm show ITV News Central. She also produces and presents features including the much loved and long running Country Calendar series where she swaps her heels for wellies to explore the great outdoors.

Lucy was Entertainment Correspondent at ITV for 3 years and during this time booked and interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world, from Robbie Williams to Sarah Jessica Parker.

Lucy was also the face of helicopter series Sky High and has presented the weather for Daybreak.

With 10 years experience in live TV Lucy handles the challenges it delivers with ease! She once filled an ITV Central OB for 15 minutes after a technical problem meant there were no vt's to roll!

She's has been nominated for RTS TV Personality of the Year Award for 5 years running and won the Best Entertainment show Award as Producer of Rock Legends.

As an experienced event host Lucy is often booked for dinners, awards ceremonies and fashion shows. Her ability to control the rowdiest of crowds and get stuck in means she's a popular choice! Previous clients include RTS Awards, Midland's Media Awards, Retail Birmingham, Business Insider, The Mailbox, Midlands Fashion Awards, to name just a few.

Writing is another of Lucy's talents, she's had editorials published in the national press including The Mail on Sunday and is a columnist for Style Birmingham Magazine.

Passionate about health and wellbeing Lucy is also well known for her love of yoga. She has practised for more than 13 years and teaches classes in her spare time!
