Lucy Smith

Part II qualified architectural assistant currently working in Bath at Designscape architects following an international placement at EDDEA Arquitectos in Sevilla; developing a masterplan proposal for the city’s port and the Guadalquivir River. Selected for this EU funded internship based on research developed in final year thesis project, which investigated the interaction between vernacular architecture and sustainable design in the Berber villages of the Ourika Valley, Morocco.

Graduated from The University of Portsmouth in 2007 and again in 2011 achieving a degree and diploma in Architecture. Since moving to Bristol regularly volunteered supporting The Architecture Centre charity who champion better buildings and development in the region. With experience both freelance and in practice on a range of bespoke residential designs.
