Lucy Watt

Lucy is a registered BACP humanistic counsellor, who trained at the Metanoia Institute. Before working as a counsellor, she worked as a freelance consultant in local government and as an events organiser and consultant at FutureGov. Before this she was the Deputy Leader of the London Borough of Islington (2006 - 2010) and Councillor for Canonbury Ward (2002 - 2010). Before becoming Deputy Leader of the Council, Lucy worked with unemployed young people and adults in Tower Hamlets, and in Public Affairs / bid writing for Working Links. Lucy spent the summer of 2010 as a volunteer at a housing project for the elderly in New York CIty.
