I'm Lucy W. Ziegler.

I'm a trained Industrial Designer, and a seasoned design professional of 16 years. My background covers a wide range of industries from Consumer Electronics to Fashion Accessories, and includes a successful track record with clients and brands such as Google, Dell, Citi Group, Nike, Salvatore Ferragamo, Diane von Furstenburg, and General Motors.

I have a holistic approach to designing experiences (ID, UX, UI) for hardware-based products, with a recent focus on IoT, Wearables and Smart Homes.

I believe in making technology more empathetic and intelligently emotional to users through design. I am most excited about the new frontier of technologies becoming ever more ubiquitous and invisible.

Currently I'm serving as Head of Design at a venture-backed, hardware-based startup in New York City. And I'm open to speaking engagements, mentoring young designers, and simply connecting with new people and new opportunities.
