Tom Hall is a London-based Australian composer, performer and writer on music. He writes primarily electronic music which often voices and instruments. His music often combines composed, algorithmic and improvisatory elements using multichannel sound and integrates principles from the slow code movement into collaborative projects. Musicological interests include early tape, electronic and computer music, and the music of the New York School. Tom is currently Programme Director for Creative Music Technology at the University of Surrey.
