I left Brazil, my home country, to be the Senior Marketing Manager of Endeavor Global in the UAE. Endeavor is a non-profit that supports high-impact entrepreneurs to catalyze long-term economic growth worldwide. I spent 5 years working in the entrepreneurship field and over 7 years in marketing. At Endeavor, I won 3 International Awards by leading entrepreneurship initiatives that, through a huge outreach efforts including a great percentage of digital strategy, stakeholder relations, partnerships and sponsorships. The campaign reached over 33% of the population in the country. Besides that, I won one national award by developing a high-end magazine for entrepreneurs reaching over 110,000 copies.
One of my projects in Dubai was a 3-day conference to gather business leaders from 10 countries and select the new members to Endeavor network. The National, CNN Middle East and Al Bayan covered the event.
I benchmarked several environments such as in San Francisco, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Dubai and more for a better understanding of the businesses system and web-based activities. Because of that, I am a guest writer for one of the main nationwide business magazines in Brazil: PEGN. Before that, I gain experience in multinationals such as WebTrends, which I developed my skills in B2B pre-sales, WebMetrics and digital strategy and, Kellogg, which gave me a great background in retail and B2C activities working closely to the Sales department.
I've done several projects as a Consultant to Sixpix Content and Grupo Foco in Brazil, Pink Tank (UAE for a project in Qatar) and Flagship Consultancy (UAE).
I started my MBA at Hult Business School (Dubai) and currently I'm a marketing mentor and Operations Manager at SeedStartup, a Dubai-based startup accelerator and seed fund with a global approach and diversity. I manage ongoing relationships with international & regional investors to maximize follow-on funding for startups, plan, organize and deliver key activities, events and content to maximize its awareness and brand equity. The startups I advise are generating revenue, getting coverage in the main media channels in their field such as L.A. Times and Beta Kit.
