I am an Engineer of the arts; well-versed in various forms of art such as: Music, Writing, Graphic Design, Digital Art, Sketching, and many more. Born into an “artsy” family, my father was an actor in theater and my mother, a pastry chef. I learned adaptability by transitioning from my father’s acting books to then developing an articulate side from my mother. She taught me the search for perfection when creating something. My brother also inherited the artistic gene as a painter and sketch artist. I gained an ability to draw by watching him and replicating his techniques. He was a great mentor, as my mind memorized each stroke or curve of the pencil. I found myself analyzing them to apply these steps on my own later. Throughout academics, I did not follow a career in any of the arts, however I have never ceased the enjoyment of creating – whether writing, drawing, playing music or even doing graphic design. I believe that all forms of the arts are an “expression of your creative being”.
