I started my career at Sabatina, in 1994. In Portugal, Sabatina was the reference in advertising investment data. It had, at a certain point, 100% of the market share. However, the information services, were very basic and far from the latest technology's developments.

Following the idea that information will become more relevant than advertising, I founded Manchete. We were in 1996. Manchete was a company dedicated to media intelligence, to understand the impact of the information in their targets, to manage reputation and innovate by using public information in the competitive intelligence field.

We achieved relevant goals in Manchete: 1997 - First international web based platform; 1998 - First online database of media information; 1999 - First web based platform of media measurement; 2000 - First "free paper" company in the sector; 2001 - First channel in a Microsoft set top box - MediaZap; 2002 - First WAP application in sector; 2007 - Social Media Monitoring; 2008 - First web based application to manage Public Relations.

During this period, I always dedicated myself to the study of reputation and competitive intelligence. I did several seminars and courses worldwide, including the ACI and PAGE, I was Chairman of the Professional Development Committee of AMEC, Chairman of Analysis Committee of FIBEP and member of SCIP.

In 2012, I founded INSIGTE, a company with the ambition to create a cluster combining the expertise of advertising, information and social media, in Southern African Development Community (SADC). This vision was related with the way I believe we should analyse all the outcomes of a brand or entity: together. In 2015 INSIGTE was merged in CARMA's group - a worldwide player in the media intelligence field. It was a great experience to work in a global project. Worldwide, great methodologies, challenger and with the best team. I led the CPLP markets and I was group COO.

In 2018, I decided to create IM. a startup focused in innovation - combining the knowledge of science, psychology and technology - and in the competitive intelligence field. Invisible Meaning has been a great experience because it involves deep expertise - opening the doors to learn, to discover and to realise amazing things.
