Luis is a Dominican software engineer, Singularity University alumni (GSP2012), Open ExO Certified Advisor, Trainer, and Coach, and Entrepreneur In Residence (Mountain View - 2018 / Denmark 2019).
He's also the CEO of INFORMATIK, a US, and DR based software development company whose innovation division Doulab, is massively accelerating entrepreneurship. Its goal is to empower the rising billion to create sustainable exponentially accelerated organizations that deliver meaningful change.
He's the author of "The MicroCanvas", an open source canvas framework that is proposing better ways of creating and transforming organizations. Its main principles are: focus passionately on the customer's problems and needs, produce stackable, modular and self-validated canvases that are self-explanatory, and easy-to-use as guidance tools accessible to everyone.
As a consultant with 15 years of experience in multiple projects for both the public and private sector, he has made contributions in open data, interoperability, the blockchain, entrepreneurship, and business model innovation for several international companies and organizations. For the DR Government, he has been a collaborator on several IT standards and norms, as well as a handbook on Cybersecurity readiness for the Financial Sector.
