My name is Luisa Fernanda Naranjo Orozco. I studied special education teaching, colombian sign language and I have a master's degree in linguistics.
I have worked as a university professor for two years at Antioquia University where I have taught different courses about deafness, deaf culture and Colombian Sign Language. Besides, I have been an advisor in different projects about teaching deaf students..
As a sign language interpreter, I have worked in schools, deaf associations and currenty I work in Teleantioquia Mi Canal.
Since 2012 I have done research about Colombian Sign Language, I researched the verbal tense, the inflectional morphology related to tense, the syntax structure, the changes in the orientation and/or direction of the movement of the hands that provide certain tense information.
Next year, I am going to start a Ph D in Linguistics, and I would like researching about Lexical Categories, Deriving Nouns from Verbs, After getting my Ph D degree, I would like to research about The Function of Space in the Sign Languages.
Currenty, I teach Spanish as a second language for deaf students. I study English at Eafit University and I hope to be a plurilingual person.
Finally, I would like to talk about my free time activities. I like listening to music, playing my clarinet, reading and sleeping.
