Luis Baquero

Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Luis Baquero grew up in the now musically commercialized town of West Palm Beach, FL. Raised with old school hip hop melodies & pop sounds, he began to incorporate it into his new found love: electronic music. Starting to DJ in 2007 , it did not take long for him to get recognized by the top DJs in the scene. He held a residency at Euro Lounge (WPB) for two years but it was not until 2010 that he went out in search of musical expansion and ended up in the beautiful city of Miami. It was there that he met a few like minded individuals that went by the name: MiamiRebels. A year later he now holds a residency at CoveLove Thursday Nights, as well as guest spots at some of Miami's most musically inclined venues; Space, Tree House, The Electric Pickle, Nocturnal, & Eve. He has also started a DJ duo by the name ThunderPony with fellow MiamiRebel Ricardo Mogollon. Attributing very different styles and influences, the two make a duo that is redefining the norm for quality club music. The two are now working diligently on productions of their own as well as bringing the revolutionary sound that they are known for.
