Based in Miami, Florida, Luis Cordero brings an interest in immigration law to his firm, Cordero & Associates. Before starting his own practice in 2006, he worked at a multinational law firm. Currently, Luis Cordero represents clients in not only immigration, but also nationality, consular, tax, and corporate law.
Mr. Cordero obtained his JD from the University of Miami School Of Law and has been practicing law for over 20 years. He has been named one of South Florida’s Top Lawyers and has been listed in Who’s Who Legal: Florida. After a tenure as the group's president, Mr. Cordero now serves on the south Florida’s chapter board of directors for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He also functions as a speaker and a writer for the organization.
In addition to his law practice work, Mr. Cordero acts as board vice president and secretary for the Injured Officers Assistance Fund. He additionally is on the board of directors for the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
