Hello, my name is Luis Padilla. I enjoy watching movies, sports, and writing. I enjoy a lot of other things but above that I enjoy music. Listening to, playing, and writing music. A musician/artist career would be a dream career.

What a musician/artist does is produce music using their talents and skills. They work hard to create original pieces so that not only they can make money but so that they can create art that will last for many years to come. The reason I'm passionate about music the way that I am is because it helps me understand and allow others to understand the way I feel in a way they can also feel the emotions in.

In particular there are no certifications for an artist. But there is still a lot of hard work involved in the process of becoming a well known one. Branding, marketing, and understanding of the processes that work with becoming an artist. So as far as qualifications or certifications there are none.

The average salary of a musician/artist is around

$70-120k | But can go a lot higher

but of course this also depends on the level of marketing and brand deals and popularity involved with the artists fame.

The five skills that an artist might be might want to have are the following:

1. Discipline & Work Ethic: This is really important to a musical career. Talent can only get someone so far, but working hard and everyday will improve the skill someone has.

2. Hard Work: Not only is discipline and work ethic important but making sure that you work to the extent that you can handle completely. Working hard is very important because it determines how much you improve.

3. Take Care of Oneself: Because the artist will be working so hard, you would need to make sure that you are taking care of your mental and physical health so you can know if you are safe enough to continue working.

4. Expressing Gratitude: You always have to be grateful when you're gifted with a talent or even being able to enjoy music. There are some people that won't get to play or hear music. So the people that do should consider themselves lucky that they have the chance to have music in their lives.

5. Get Inspired: There are a lot of ways to get inspired from going to shows to finding things around you to write about. There is always something knew that can be talked about. Things you enjoy or things you have conflicting ideas about. It all plays a big role when being a musician/artist.
