Luis Perera

Luis Perera is currently the Partner in charge of Sustainable Business Solutions at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chile. Perera is a seasoned audit partner with wide international experience servicing many audit and sustainability clients and projects, throughout his career. Speaks German, English, Portuguese and Spanish and has a working knowledge of French and Italian.

He is the author of several papers on sustainability reporting , wrote two books on the socio economic dimension of sustainability reporting "Towards a Fourth Financial Statement", has been engaged as a technical expert in working groups with the GRI, and his views have been included in the first study of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) about sustainability. Conferencist on Sustainability throughout Latin American, he is considered in his region a pioneering accountant in the field of integrating non financial information into mainstream reporting.
