Ecuadorian by blood and a globetrotter at heart, you can find me at the intersection of food, family and adventure. I value simplicity, fun and the passion that comes from leaping head first into a new experience.

I think life is an art worth savoring.

I've traveled 50,000+ nautical miles all around the world in the US Coast Guard as a 2nd Class Petty Officer to doing another thousand plus backpacking through South America. These two experiences showed me first hand the impacts of extreme poverty and lack of education. As a result, it's become a priority of mine to help increase access to education in South America.

These days you'll find me whipping up something magical in our world-class food programme at Airbnb, where superior guest experiences are just the beginning.
