Greetings,

I am a Venture Investor living in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. My main interests are entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, Internet business and crypto currencies.

I believe the world - particularly Brazil - needs new business and companies that will employ people, create innovative products and services to customers, cut costs and generate value to the community. Entrepreneurship and innovation mean prosperity and opportunities to the various stakeholders in modern society.

My background is in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I have been an entrepreneur since college. I ran a junior enterprise at UFMG – Federal University of Minas Gerais - and this experience gave me insights about how to run a business. Once I left school, I co-founded two technology companies. The first one, Sigma Instruments, developed biomedical electronics and the second one, Devex, developed fleet management solutions to control and optimize equipment traffic for both, open-pit and underground mines. Devex was sold to a Swedish corporation called Hexagon. Now, after having worked in this global company for three years, I am contributing to the entrepreneurial community by investing and using my past experience and background to leverage new business in growing stage.
