I am a policy and communication specialist based in New York. Currently, I'm a research fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Brazil Institute, as well as at CLALS, American University.

Over the last 15 years, I have worked with traditional and social media platforms, governments, academic institutions, NGOs, and think tanks in Asia, Europe, North, and South America. My experience includes providing evidence-based strategic and policy advice, conceptual analysis, research, presenting ideas and data, mediating, reporting, creating multimedia content, public speaking, facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogue, building relationships with media, conceptualizing and implementing projects.

I’m the former US correspondent for CNN Brasil platforms –TV channel, website, social media, and podcasts. I delivered daily news coverage, exclusive investigations, analysis, and feature stories for CNN.

I worked as the Hong Kong-based Asia correspondent for GloboNews, the main Brazilian pay-TV all-news channel, part of Globo Group, the largest commercial TV network in South America. I covered breaking news in Asia, including the Hong Kong protests (2014 & 2019), the China-US trade war and the North Korea missile crisis. I was a regular contributor to Radio France Internationale (RFI), the BBC World Service (BBC News Brasil), and Folha de São Paulo - Brazil’s leading newspaper.

I received my PhD in Political Science from Sorbonne Nouvelle University – Institute of Latin American Studies (IHEAL). My research interests include foreign policy, diplomacy, media and disinformation campaigns, contemporary China-Latin America relations and environmental policies. I'm also a certified yoga teacher (RTY 200), a vegetarian and I'm involved in environmental protection activities.
