Lukasz Swiatek
Researcher in Australia
I lecture in the Discipline of Media and Communications at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. The first major focus of my research is strategic communication. Current studies are tackling two areas: digital developments affecting professional communicators and organisations, and the changing shapes and roles of different types of rewards. The second major research focus is higher education teaching and learning. I have taught a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Previously, I worked in publishing and news (as a reporter and editor) and in integrated communication (combining public relations and advertising), in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors.
