Luke Carmichael

Welcome to my portfolio site! My name is Luke Carmichael and I go to Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio! I am from Grove City, Ohio and went to high school at Central Crossing. I study Communication and play soccer on The Muskingum University Men’s Soccer team! I am a committed hard working leader; I want to succeed in life. My goals are to become a producer for a big TV station! I come from a great family of four! My parents have always helped me through everything and will always be there to support me on everything I need support on. I also have a magnificent girlfriend who always pushes me to succeed in everything I do; she pushes me to become a better person everyday! In my free time I play soccer, video games and hang out with my friends! I am also a follower of God; God is the most important thing in my life. Without God I wouldn’t be here and wouldn’t have any of the qualities or ambitions I have, God gave it all to me and through him I can succeed in the ways God wants me to succeed! On another note here at Muskingum I am currently involved in many different parts of our broadcast media offered. I am a producer for “The Muskie Daily” TV program that we run Monday through Thursday on cable channel 9 in New Concord during the academic semester. I also am a trainee for 90.7 WMCO The Orbit. Next semester I will have my own radio show for two hours once a week. I have helped in a few different TV programs such as Blank it in, MuskieTube, and Muskie Sports Roundup I started out, as a Journalism major and decided video production was actually my thing! When I was a journalism major I wrote for the Black and Magenta newspaper we have here on campus for one semester! I have gained tons of experiencing in one of my favorite things, EDITING! I edit videos and make video packages all of the time. It is my happy place when I am editing and here on this page you can find my videos in the video section! So far the whole experience has been great and I have really been enjoying myself as well as working my butt off! But it’s all because I want so badly to succeed in this field and I will continue to work hard to make it happen! So take a look at all of my information, videos, and more and enjoy my page! Thanks!
