My writing is duct tape. Luke Peden

My writing is like duct tape because it connects everything and holds it all together. It also is quick and easy to use, like when I wait to last minute (which unfortunately is most of the time) to write my papers. Duct tape can stick almost any two random things together. That is like my writing because I make connections to almost anything when I write. Another thing about duct tape is that it is flexible and stretchy, which relates because I don’t usually follow a certain structure, I form the sentence in my head as I go. Usually when I use duct tape, it is spontaneous. I don’t plan weeks before to tape something, because usually it is used to fix things I cannot predict will break ahead of time. I don’t use templates before I write because I just sit down and start writing, usually no planning involved at all. Duct tape holds everything together, is quick, and flexible, and so is my writing.
