Greetings, I’m Luke.
I’m the Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager of Harvest Lane Asset Management, which I co-founded in 2013.
At Harvest Lane I’m responsible for overseeing and managing the firm’s strategy and day-to-day activities including client acquisition, the development of trading and investment strategy, compliance, staff recruitment and management.
I have been trading in Australian and international equity markets, on both a proprietary basis and on behalf of retail and wholesale clients, for 17 years with the consistent objective of generating positive returns for investors.
Prior to Harvest Lane, I was the Managing Director and co-founder of private client broking and advisory firm HC Securities. In this role I focused on performance-based brokerage, developed numerous successful trading strategies, and reviewed and underwrote select corporate offerings. In just three years, my team and I grew the business to 15 staff, achieved $4.5 million in revenue, and successfully advised a client base of 1,500 investors.
Before this I was E*TRADE Australia’s Equities Dealing Manager where I was responsible for the company’s entire retail dealing function.
I have a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and numerous industry qualifications including certification as an Accredited Derivatives Advisor.
I started my career at Platinum Asset Management.
