Luke E. Cordasco
Business Student with Diverse Experience in Charlottesville, Virginia
A candidate for his master of science in commerce at the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, Luke Cordasco focuses his studies on finance. He enrolled in his current program after completing a bachelor of arts in political science at Hartford, Connecticut's Trinity College, where he also pursued summer study and work experience. Following his first year at Trinity, Luke Cordasco studied foreign policy analysis at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and interned at Deutsche Bank, where he shadowed a professional on the Fixed Income Trading Floor and completed rotations with a number of desks.
The following year, Luke Cordasco served as an equity research intern at Ingalls & Snyder. In this role, he provided data analysis on a potential target, which kept the firm from investing in a company that ultimately filed for bankruptcy. He also spent 30 days of the same summer as a participant in the extremely selective Tuck Business Bridge Program, through which he conducted analysis and gave a presentation on the valuation of a specific company.
Luke Cordasco spent the fall of his third year abroad and the following summer as an intern at commercial real estate firm CBRE. There, he accepted the role of executive vice president in a team presentation before high-level management.
