Dr. Luke Hartman is an accomplished professional within a wide-range of disciplines, including healthcare, education, and athletics. Over the course of his career, Hartman has proven himself to be an innovative, forward-thinker who is capable of driving change in the organizations he manages, the community, and society as a whole. His specialties include leadership, strategic planning, marketing, training and development, educational pedagogy, special education law & advocacy, strategic enrollment management, financial assistance, cultural competency, and diversity and inclusion.

Currently serving as the Program Director for Liberty Point Behavioral Health, LLC, Hartman is in part responsible for one of the leading healthcare companies in the country. Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare offers young men with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental health issues the opportunity for residential treatment in a safe and secure environment that encourages growth and self-responsibility.

Luke Hartman bring with him years of experience working in both education and special education. Dr. Hartman has served as a professor of undergraduate and graduate studies in the field of General and Special Education. He has also served as a middle and high school special education teacher, a behavioral consultant, a diversity consultant, and a head collegiate men’s basketball coach and a university vice president serving on the President’s cabinet.

Dr. Luke Hartman received his M.Ed. from Wichita State University in Special Education and his PhD from Virginia Tech where he conducted groundbreaking research analyzing ways to reduce prejudice in public schools.
