Luke Hingley

Hi,

I am 22 and originally from Wolverhampton, I now live in Torbay with my fiancée and two children.

I have a great passion for music and have preformed as a Michael Buble Tribute Act which is an ongoing aspiration of mine. Other interests include boxing which has kept me fit, healthy and motivated ever since I started out around seven years ago. I have had many bouts (boxing matches) and thoroughly enjoy the sport.

My work history consists of customer based roles including, bar staff, casino host, K.P and promoting staff. Around two years ago, I was given a work experience opportunity with a community interest company (I Can Do That), who specialise in providing support for people who are unemployed. I started off on a work experience placement which then led onto to an apprenticeship lasting one year. I am now employed on a full-time basis with the company, having been employment by them at the end of my apprenticeship.

My role as a Course Tutor and Careers Advisor required me to have an NVQ Level 4 in Advice & Guidance as well as an NOCN Level 3 qualification in Education & Training. I successfully completed both of these courses, which combined took me six months.

I am a very outgoing, caring and committed person with a keen interest in helping others. I very easy to talk to and have excellent I.T skills along with extensive knowledge around how to successfully converse with individuals as I have undertaken NLP - (Neuro Linguistic Programming) training. In addition to this I have efficient organisation skills and problem solving ability, and am able to quickly recognise techniques and pick up procedures, which results in the tasks I am given, being completed within a timely manner and to the highest possible standard.
