Losing Musings

I am a freshman at Stetson University who enjoys coffee, Studio Ghibli movies, Lacoste, and the trading card game Magic: The Gathering. I have an amazing girlfriend, Amanda, who is way too good for me. Outside of school, I live in Lake County with my mother, who’s pretty annoying but everyone else thinks is cool, and she wrote a book. I’m pretty involved at my school, I think, and am a member of the Student Government Association, Student Homelessness Coalition, Phi Alpha Delta, the honors program, and also started an academic challenge team called Quiz Bowl that consumes any of my spare time.

I’m majoring in philosophy and political science and plan on minoring in psychology, history, and French. A lot of what I do relates to helping the homeless or other issues with society. My current plan is to finish at Stetson, then go to law school for public interest and work with homeless advocacy or civil rights. I also care about politics and the way the world works, so I’m hoping I can be lucky enough to find a way to work on all these issues at some point.
