I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am the Psychological Counselor for international students at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou, China.I have previously worked as the University Counselor at the American University of Iraq - Sulaimani.

Areas of clinical interest include students attending university, blended families, families facing separation, survivors of domestic violence and child abuse, and issues of racism and sexism.

I have written for the independent feminist youth magazine Shameless, MAVIN Magazine, The Daily at the University of Washington as well as the pop-culture blog Racialicious.

I received a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Antioch University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington. I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy.
