Luke Maggard

I am from Melvindale Michigan. I am the oldest child with two younger sisters. My beautiful wife Kaitie and I have been married for almost three years. We have no children yet, but two crazy cats. I have my undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, with a focus in Public Administration and Non-Profit Administration. Currently I am working on my Masters of Arts in Children's and Family Ministry from Bethel Seminary.

I am excited to be a part of Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church as the Children's Ministry Director! Serving kids and their families is a God given passion, and I am excited to being doing that here with you! Watching kids grow up, helping them understand who God is and He means to them, and helping parents have those difficult conversations with their kids really excites me about Children's Ministry. I love working with people, and being able to learn new things from others.

I am a big sports fan. I love watching any Detroit sports team, especially the Tigers and Lions. If you ever want to talk sports I am your guy! I enjoy reading books of all kinds. Currently most of my reading is about Children's and Family Ministry for school, but I also like to read many Christian books, leadership books, and action books. If your looking for a book to read I would recommend anything by Tim Keller!
