Musical theatre has always intrigued me, from the big bright lights, the sharp ensemble dance numbers and the powerful overwhelming vocals; ever since I was young I've been hooked. I would go to the theatre and witness a show and dream about being part of it one day. This passion has made me determined to succeed in life at everything I attempt to do. What draws me so strongly is that the theatre has always been a liberating experience for me. I adore the idea of being part of something bursting with charisma and enthusiasm. Whilst studying I have played a variety of roles ranging from; Action (West Side Story) the always angry and outgoing Jet, to Cinderella's Prince (Into The Woods) the OTT camp prince who chases after a woman, but isn't satisfied once he has her. It's a great opportunity to play such a wide variety of character as you really get to develop yourself as an actor and strengthen your skills. You also get to build a new knowledge of history, whilst researching into your characters life. I have also danced for the professional company 'Biserk' during the 'Oxford Dance Festival', as well as dancing at 'Dance Oxford' in the Oxford Town Hall.
