MUSIC TEACHER

I am a self-taught guitarist, performer, composer, music producer, percussionist and a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher of all these skills. I also run workshops in Drumming, Guitar, Band, Singing, Songwriting, Ceilidh dancing & African dancing; and co-founded the 'music and performance' workshop company TopHat Workshops est. 2002.

MUSICIAN

I have been playing guitar for 15 years as a professional guitarist (my main instrument); recorded and produced three albums (with two more in the pipeline; appeared on another four; and as a guitarist have played live with a variety of bands over the last decade, I have also been a singer, as a front man of Vogue Gyratory and the occasional backing vocals for other performers; plus as a singing workshop leader and choir director. I also play bass, a variety of percussion and can play a little piano, clarinet and drum kit.

I like to travel, experienceing music from all over the world and have worked with bands in South Korea, Indonesia, New Zealand and West Africa; as well as the projects of the UK listed below:
