Luke Davis

Luke T. Davis is co-founder, President ,and CTO of ZiaSat-- a small satellite design and manufacturing company.

Luke is a veteran Air Force officer, entrepreneur, and space technologist. Additionally, Luke is a Partner at the Albuquerque Technology Incubator, 505StartUps, and a product manager for various mobile development projects for use in the enterprise environment (iOS, Android). He consults regularly to boot-strapped start-ups in the areas of social media, finance, operations, and strategy.

Prior to ZiaSat, Luke directed WP Aerospace’s Business and Technology Development, managing the Operationally Responsive Space efforts, tech–transfer agreements, and technical proposal evaluations for the company. In addition, he was a NASA Space Grant fellow at Spaceport America. During his Air Force career, he was a program manager and served as Deputy Chief of Operations at AFRL in ground-based space observation, managed the $29B U.S. Foreign Military Sales account in the Middle East (U.S. Embassy, Riyadh), and was a Test and Integration Manager for ground and space sensors at the Air Force Electronic Sytstems Center.

He is a graduate of the UNM Anderson School of Management and holds an MSc. from the International Space University, France. In 2003, Luke was awarded the USAF Electronic Systems Center ‘Technical Manager of the Year Award’ and in 2007 was named to the UNM “Anderson School of Management Young Alumni Hall of Fame”. In 2008, he was named “International Scholar of the Year” by the Society of Satellite Professionals International.
