Hello and welcome!

My name is Mike Lukin.I'm a Sacramento based wedding photographer.

I specialize in bridal and engagement photography.

My style is simple, spontaneous, and artistic.

From traditional weddings to destination weddings, multicultural, and everything in between, it’s always a joy for me to be a part of such a special moment between two people. It’s my goal to capture your love story in all of its essence, from traditional posed to more candid moments, and of course, a style that fits your unique tastes, from vintage to crisp and clean. I love being able to develop a relationship with the couples I’m shooting. Not only does it make us all more comfortable, but once the big day actually arrives, it will help you to feel more candid in front of the camera, so you can really be yourself. After all, these are memories you’ll be looking back on for the rest of your lives - it’s important that they capture the real ‘you’, both individually, and as a couple. I’m a very hands-on photographer from start to finish: I really enjoy meeting with the couples I’m working with ahead of time, and can even give advice on other vendors like DJs, videographers, makeup artists, catering, etc., based on my experience. I make it a point to fully immerse myself in each event, but stay out of the way so I’m not a distraction. I do all my editing myself with the latest advancements in software and technology, and it’s my passion to make every single photo tells a great story.

In my spare time, I really enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family - my wife, and our two children. Family, faith and friendship are all very important to me. I love traveling, being outdoors, and trying different cuisines. Photography has always been my strong passion, though, and I feel lucky every day to be able to do what I love, and capture the biggest moments in people’s lives.
