Luna is aSinger/Songwriter using her artistry to create platforms of Empowerment, Education and Exchange.

As an advocate of empowerment, self-expression, and social good, Luna dedicates her life and professional talents toward arts activism and the development of platforms that specifically cater to the needs of mothers and women in the artist and entertainment community, as well as mentoring and artist development programs for youth.

Luna’s strong desire to see the manifestation of dreams fulfilled for others as much as herself, compels her movement forward to be more than just an artist. Through her professional experiences, in both the educational and entertainment arenas, Luna has been inspired to share her gifts on a broader scale by developing platforms of empowerment, arts sustainability and creative entrepreneurship through The LotusLove Project and most recently, LotusLove Music,LLC.

As an Artist Startup + Creative Director, Luna is positioning LotusLove Music as a strategic operating system for artists such as herself, to serve as a platform where creativity meets sustainability and monetization. The Project is a non-profit initiative, in which educational and empowerment support/resources are provided through programming, workshops, special events, professional mentorships, collaboration opportunities and more.

Currently, Luna continues to write and make appearances as a member of LotusLove, the singing/songwriting duo with her twin sister, Robin “Jew’El” Phillips, as well as, strategically developing herself as an artist-start-up with an upcoming launch of a solo project, due out summer 2016. With LotusLove, Luna has been performing and writing for more than 15 years

Luna also continues her creativity as a natural hair stylist by providing styling and beauty consulting services to her Atlanta and Florida based clients. Incorporating the elements of beauty, image and esteem is an integral component to the empowerment work she is destined for.

Although raised in metro-Atlanta, Luna’s roots extend to Milwaukee, WI, where her family history of strong political roots are found.

She is a graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University where she majored in Music with an emphasis on piano, voice, choral techniques. While juggling all of this, she is a mother of 3 and still makes time for family, friends and opportunity!
