Robert has over 17 years of experience in managing assets for institutions, professional athletes, small business owners and high net worth investors. Prior to founding Surevest Wealth Management in 2002, Robert held positions as a derivatives trader and risk analyst for a Wall St. firm and as a proprietary trader and Chief Risk Officer for a regional firm. Robert currently serves as the firm’s CEO and CIO overseeing the investments process for all of the firm’s clients.

Robert is an alumnus of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania graduating from the Wharton Advanced Management Program (AMP) and has been a Wharton Fellow since 2011. During his time as a Wharton Fellow, Robert has consulted with companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco and Boeing.

He holds MBA degrees from the Anderson School of UCLA & The National University of Singapore.

Robert earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) issued by the Investment Management Consultant Association (IMCA) in conjunction the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a registered securities and options principal.

Robert is a frequent contributor on CNBC and other financial networks and has been featured in numerous publications such as Barron’s, Wharton magazine, USA TODAY and the Wall St. Journal.

Robert has a special interest in working with young athletes and entrepreneurs where he believes he can make a major impact on their financial future. He is personally accepting select new clients.
